First diary posting, and first time out for a while, and really enjoyed myself. Most people out on anything between 5.0 and 6.3m. Cross onshore, port tack. Nice smallish waves towards Burgh Island, bigger further out towards the river mouth. Had a great time not doing anything too radical, just sailing out a couple of hundred metres to just beyond the break, with maybe the odd small jump. Getting round either wet or dry, and catching the waves back in and trying to get a few decent turns in, at least as much as you can on a big floaty board. I thought I was doing OK, probably didn't look as good on the beach though - never mind, I was having a good time. Good crowd out today - maybe a dozen or so, most people seemed to be enjoying the conditions.
